Manesco, the Project Manager Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of operations on construction sites. The person in this position works closely with the Project Manager to ensure the coordination, planning, and efficient management of all aspects of the assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the project manager with administrative tasks (e.g., timesheets, monitoring work progress).
  • Input and update necessary data and documents for construction.
  • Monitor site inventories.
  • Assist the project manager with site procurement; process orders, issue purchase orders, and follow up.
  • Measure and compile quantities and quality data on the site.
  • Write daily reports as needed.
  • Archive and organize site documents according to established procedures.
  • Prepare for and participate in various meetings.
  • Perform any other related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the site.

Required Skills:

  • Hold a professional diploma or a technical degree in administration/accounting or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with general computer skills.
  • Experience on construction sites (an asset).
