Our Digitization and Automation Team within Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, team-oriented individual who will focus on developing digital, automated solutions in collaboration with other team members and in partnership with our business partners across GWAM Operations.
Responsibilities
Develop knowledge and capability using the Microsoft suite of products, primarily Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Platform, Power BI) and SQL query/programming language, but also MS Azure, other tools/capabilities/languages to develop solutions
Apply your analytical skills and critical thinking to ask questions, understand business drivers and needs, and bring order and precision to scope and requirements on initiatives
Capitalize on ability to build and foster positive, effective relationships to strengthen partnerships with key partners.
Deliver documented solution requirements and propose solutions in a clear and concise manner
Propose business decisions that get results and solve customer problems

What we are looking for
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science/Analytics or related Discipline.
Strong proficiency in finding creative solutions
Analytical; enjoy working with data and solving problems
Experience with programming languages, data platforms or sources, e.g., SQL, C#.NET, VB, ASP.NET, Python, MS Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
You bring an Agile approach to the table and are passionate about Agile delivery
Customer centric focus
Curiosity and willingness to learn
Strong work ethic with a proactive, flexible attitude and a desire to pitch in wherever needed
Strong time management, planning, and communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with various partners
Understanding of financial services industry, and wealth and asset management is an asset

Primary Location
Working Arrangement
Salary range is expected to be between
$57,675.00 CAD - $96,125.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
