Bilingual Data Reporting Analyst

The Group Benefits Business Analytics & Advice team is looking for a Data Reporting Analyst to generate reports for our Customers and Advisors. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to understand the data demands of the Group Benefits business and respond to those demands with on the job learning via support from the Business Analytics team.

The Data Reporting Analyst will be responsible to independently coordinate production of reports and respond to Customers and Advisor demands. This bilingual position is a great way to engage with customers while learning the Group Benefits business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with internal and external customers to understand data requirements

  • Prioritize reporting needs of customers

  • Fulfill data needs of customers by report creation and escalation where necessary

  • Expand technical and Group Benefit knowledge to expand the subset of reports they can create

  • Work with Business Analytics and Advice teammates to improve report creation processes

  • Be a first line of defense in supporting Group Benefits data governance

Required Qualifications:

  • Attention to accuracy and detail is critical

  • Excellent prioritization skills

  • Strong team player with a high commitment to quality work and service

  • Ability to develop positive internal business relationships and contacts

  • Undergraduate Degree with interests in data and analytics are highly preferred

  • Bilingual is required (French/English) -The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SQL queries for reporting is highly preferred.

  • Experience with PowerBI is preferred.

  • Working experience in change management and deployment cycle

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is highly preferred

Salary range is expected to be between

$43,800.00 CAD - $73,000.00 CAD
