Insurance Sales Support Specialist

Accountable for providing excellent pre-sales support to all sources of business. This role is the first point of contact for producers and back offices for items relating to the insurance pre-sales process, including product information, case design, illustrations, and assistance with any marketing or new business and underwriting needs.

Responsibilities:

• Support Internal Sales Management in reporting and analytics
• Answer financial advisor queue calls with regards to advisor inquiries
• Assist Internal Sales Consultants in back-up support
• Attend Internal Sales Consultant sales meetings, training sessions, webinars and regional team meetings
• Act as national campaign administrator- create and manage Call Campaigns
• Develop individual territory prospecting lists and strategies for efficient prospecting
• Communicate effectively in facilitating advisors with website tools
• Assist with presentation materials
• Provide technical support in electronic paperwork signature process
• Complete requests for the sales desk
• Manage dispersal of leads that come from external sources
• Assist with Investment Comparisons
• Track relevant plan information
• Routinely contact third party benchmarking parties
• Proactively develop strategies to increase efficiencies in benchmarking tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written; excellent customer service skills
• Positive mindset, desire to learn, interest in sales
• Good understanding of the business unit and products
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) as well as database management
• Strong organizational skills/ detail oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with shifting priorities and tight deadlines

Salary range is expected to be between

$53,775.00 CAD - $89,625.00 CAD
