Sales Coordinator, Asian Markets

Reporting to the Head of Asian Market Solutions, the position of Sales Coordinator, Asian Markets will play an integral role in the growth of Manulife Bank’s Asian Markets business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Expense management

    • Checking & correcting all expenses submitted

    • Collating info and maintaining a spreadsheet of important data

    • Cheque requests and following up on these requests

    • Assisting with budget allocation, error correction and distribution

  • Administrative requests

    • Triaging all requests and emails and replying as needed

    • Sending out emails on behalf of the Head as requested

    • Recording important presentations and meetings and highlighting minutes for distribution

    • Sales data analytics

    • Courier/mail outs

  • Event planning

    • Source and plan conference/meetings for the leader (could be internal or external) including the creating and sending of invitations

    • Helps with Regional meetings and entire sales team meetings, planning and arranging including travel and hotel arrangements

    • Collaborating with internal partners to host larger scale events

Required Qualifications:

  • English, Cantonese and Mandarin (verbal and written)

  • Banking/financial services experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a sales coordinator or a similar role

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, time management and priority setting skills to meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal, professional and diplomacy skills with a high comfort level in dealing with individuals at all levels in the organization.

  • Strong verbal communication and business writing skills.

  • Ability to prepare and understand reports and identify discrepancies in reporting.

  • Experience using digital communication platforms: including Word, Teams, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.

Salary range is expected to be between

$52,650.00 CAD - $87,750.00 CAD
