Vendor Management Coordinator

The Vendor Governance Coordinator will join the Bank’s Vendor Governance Team and will support all (third party and inter-entity) contracts and related governance within Manulife Bank. The Vendor Governance Team is a centralized point of contact for all Manulife Bank vendor partners, providing knowledge and consulting expertise with respect to partner contracts and relations, that support the overall Manulife Bank strategy. As a Vendor Governance Coordinator, you will be involved in all five stages of the vendor management lifecycle: planning, due diligence, contracting, ongoing monitoring, and disengagement - with a heavy focus on the ongoing monitoring phase. The goal of the Bank Vendor Governance Team is to develop and support a mutually beneficial relationship with all our vendor partners.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Promote the Global Procurement and Third-Party Management Standard within Manulife Bank

  • Assist in maintaining the Bank’s contracts in the contract data base as a document management specialist

  • Maintain mutually beneficial relationships between Manulife Bank and all third-party partners

  • Ensure third-party compliance with various Bank and Global vendor policies

  • Monitor contract expiries and renewals

  • Support internal and regulatory audits by generating reporting from relevant databases

  • Support the five stages of the vendor management lifecycle as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Strong technical risk knowledge

  • Extreme attention to detail

  • Ability to work well independently as well as with others

  • Ability to grasp new concepts and information quickly

  • Eager to build strong relationships with internal departments and external partners

  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Comfortable influencing without authority

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneNote, Power BI and PowerPoint

  • Experience with Jira and/or Confluence would be an asset

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business, Systems or related experience

Salary range is expected to be between

$50,700.00 CAD - $84,500.00 CAD
