Daiken North America LTD is seeking dependable, hard-working Millwright for our Huntsville, ON facility, (formerly Panolam Industries LTD).
In this role, you will be a valuable part of our Huntsville team. Millwrighting skills including installation, maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment,while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. Daiken North America LTD seeks reliable, punctual, and team-oriented individuals with the ability to perform physical tasks and work in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

- Report any machinery issues to management
- Work cooperatively with the production team to meet goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
- Completion of work within budgetary guidelines.
- Control safety.
- Track machine availabilities and efficiencies.
- Tuning equipment and ensuring that adequate controls and safety measures are functional.
- Repairing and replacing parts as required by the company’s preventative maintenance program
- Licensed Industrial Millwright/Mechanic 433A
- Strong troubleshooting ability.
- Competent technical ability, both theory and applied.
- Good communication skills in English (verbal & written
- Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines
- Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
