A day in the life of a deckhand:

• Mooring and casting off the ship – you’ll be at the heart of operations
• Guiding vehicles for optimal loading
• Participating in ship maintenance to keep it impeccable
• Welcoming and assisting passengers with professionalism
• Ensuring safety on board and smooth crossings
• Taking part in rescue and safety drills – because safety is no joke

Requirements:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Good physical condition – this is an active role!
• Resourcefulness and strong team spirit
• Comfortable communicating in French (and basic English skills)
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Permanent residency or Canadian citizenship
• Availability to work in Charlevoix with a rotating schedule
