About Mecanique TDR:

Mecanique TDR Inc. is a proud owner-operated repair service facility located between Coaticook and Ayer’s Cliff since 2017. We are dedicated to our clients, and we service a variety of diesel-powered equipment. We repair all types of trailers and machinery at our facility, we install Everest and Tenco plow equipment, dump bodies or sanders, on municipal and contractor trucks, our experienced personnel have allowed us to create and grow our local and overall customer base.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Welding and fitting on new heavy-duty snow removal trucks.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and welding of parts
  • Modification of new parts and truck gear
  • Drilling and cutting various steel
  • Fitting parts according to the plan
  • Work with blueprints, cut material and make fixtures.
  • Welding in various positions.
  • Carry out various tasks related to welding work, or as required by the project in progress and customized customer requirements.

Commitments:

  • Day shift
  • Full-time 40 hrs. a week
  • 8:00 to 16:30
  • Possibility of overtime
  • Job security
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Possibility of salary advancements due to performance

Salary:

  • Starting at $24.00 possibility of more depending on experience.

Requested skills

Candidate requirements:

  • CWB certification for MIG solid wire
  • Two (2) years of experience
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Be resourceful, responsible, and punctual.
  • Basic welding tools supplied by the employee.
  • Welding consumables will be supply by the employer.
  • Hold a certificate for the safe use of overhead cranes (an asset).
