The Accounting Technician at receivable is responsible for answering questions from customers and employees regarding invoices and delivery notes. It collects customer payments and follows up on collections. It also works with government agencies and banks.

Key roles and responsibilities:

- Prepare accounts receivable billing in an effective and efficient manner.
- Code, aggregate, enter into the accounting system and verify accounts receivable and their payments.
- Accounting for invoices by validating the information of the customer’s purchase orders as well as the delivery processes carried out.
- Contribute to the production of certain reports.
- Follow the accounting standards established by the company.
- Analyze some General Ledger accounts.
- Prepare and send the statements to the client by performing collection follow-ups.
- Record and write the data in the prepaid fee table.
- Make certain remittance to governments.

Requested skills

Profile searched:

- Diploma of College Studies (CED) in Accounting or any other equivalent experience
- Have 3 to 5 years of accounting experience
- *Language: French spoken and written, with a basic knowledge of English
- Computer:
                   ERP and/or any other accounting system
                   Microsoft Office suite
                   Excel fluency

- Have a thorough knowledge of financial language
- Have a good knowledge of taxation and accounting standards
- High level of attention to detail and good priority management

* Bilingualism is required for this position, as the majority of our clients use English. This skill is essential as approximately 30% of responsibilities will be in English and 70% in French.

Additional tasks and responsibilities may be required.
