Description

• Trip: Ontario / Quebec - Platform trailer

MAIN TASKS

• Perform inspections and safety checks of the vehicle;
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, managers and safety
• Supports all Safety & Health initiatives for the safety of all drivers, customers and other terminal employees by following all safety policies and procedures including the incident reporting system
• Hook/unhook trailers (cranking dollies), climb in and out of tractor, secure and/or tarp loads and drive the truck
• Ensure that the load is arranged in such a way that the maximum available space is used, that it is properly secured and that the weight is evenly distributed;
• Prepare receipts for onboard or delivered loading;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date log books;
• Any other duties related to his responsibilities and requested by his superior.
