Job Summary Description

Did you know that our team of snowmakers defy Mother Nature every winter? How do they do it? They install, operate, adjust, and move the snow guns, and they constantly monitor the quality and quantity of snow produced. If you enjoy working in nature and being physically active, if you are resourceful and if you like adventure, this is the job for you!

Roles and responsibilities
  • Install, start, stop and move (manually and/or with motorized equipment) the snow guns;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of hydrants;
  • Start pumps and compressors;
  • Use a propane flashlight to thaw out certain equipment;
  • Check the condition of supply lines, hoses and connections;
  • Operate ski lifts in the event of freezing rain;
  • Clean trees and chairs overloaded with manufactured snow;
  • Performing ongoing snow quality checks.
The list of duties is not exhaustive and is an overview of the tasks that the incumbent will have to perform.

  • Seasonal position, starting beginning of november.
