A career as an Account Manager in the team of Maxium Financial, National Bank of Canada, is to act as the main responsible person for prospecting and securing new financing opportunities from condominium and strata Boards facing reserve fund shortfalls. You will be accountable for overall relationship management of new and assigned clients, acting as the primary contact in the escalation/resolution of client issues, as well as strengthening relationships with senior level client contacts.This job allows you to have a positive impact on the organization through your innovative lending solutions coupled with an unparalleled ability to build long-term relationships.
Your job
- Promote awareness of the company’s various business offerings to increase account penetration and enhance company sales revenues
- Provide loan pricing, proposal writing, customer presentations, and sales and account management duties, based upon company policies, procedures, and strategic direction
- Work on new financing opportunities as they arise from various sources
- Assist with customer credit write-ups
- Develop and implement specific account and program action plans
- Ability to attend condo/strat board meetings, trade shows and other industry events as required
- Prepare annual account tactical plans, including volumes/revenues and expenses

Basic requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree or Diploma in commerce, finance or accounting or related subject area is required
- Five years of financial services sales experience within the functions of commercial lending or financial analysis with a consistent track record of completing successful cold-calling, prospecting, and pipeline development strategies
- Experience working as a property manager or other type of related condominium business would be beneficial
- Skilled in financial statement analysis and knowledge of effective risk mitigation strategies for credit underwriting
- Ability to travel and work outside of normal business hours as required
