Chief Application Analyst

The IT Delivery group supporting the Financial Crime Fight sector at National Bank is currently looking for a Chief Application analyst who wishes to contribute to the evolution of the processes and application park of the sector and its business partners. 

Your role

• Support complex application support and scalability.
• Understand the strategy, issues and operational reality of business sectors in order to guide IT teams in the development of innovative and efficient solutions
• Identify and mitigate impacts in transformational projects, ongoing programs as well as new initiatives
• Ensure the operationalization of new solutions (change management, quality assurance, process upgrades, transfer to operations)
• Advise business sectors and IT management on the directions to be taken based on business objectives, current standards and regulations, and technological objectives and trends.

Your team
The IT team is made up of more than 2,300 proactive, collaborative experts who work with agility to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology, and continuously improve our processes.
This position reports to the Manager, Asset Management, IT Delivery, Cybercrimes. You’ll actively contribute to projects on an experienced and dedicated team.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a field related to the industry and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience, support and analysis of complex applications
• SQL/Linux/Networking experience, an asset
• Knowledge of fraud and compliance areas, an asset
• Great communication skills and ability to popularize complex IT concepts
• Oriented towards achieving objectives and meeting deadlines.
