A career as a Chief Application Analyst in the IT Insurance Delivery team at National Bank means being responsible for analyzing new requests and application support.**
Your Job
- Support a suite of applications of various technologies hosted in the Cloud. Resolve support tickets, both functional and technical.
- Analyze logs and dashboards to understand the nature of a problem.
- Take charge, analyze, communicate, and coordinate the resolution of application incidents, problems, and change requests with the Bank's teams and external suppliers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (business line, developers, analysts, solution architect, etc.) and be able to offer different analyses (functional, data, quality assurance).
- Understand business needs, issues, and processes, document requirements, and prepare recommendations to design or adapt systems that meet needs and facilitate decision-making.
- Ensure good IT hygiene of the application portfolio under our sector's responsibility.
- Participate in the evolution of business orientations and the IT environment supporting them.
- Create test scenarios and perform functional and technical tests.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree or other related diploma and several years of relevant experience.
- Technical experience in analysis, technical support, or incident management.
- Experience in stakeholder management, particularly in collaboration with suppliers.
- Basic knowledge of databases and programming (able to read pseudo-code).
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, EC2, Docker, Route53, VPC, Lambda, Terraform, etc.) is an asset.
- Knowledge of collaborative work tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Office365.
- Knowledge of initiative and operations management methodologies: Agile (Scrum, Kanban), ITIL, DevOps, or others.
- Understanding of the delivery lifecycle/incident and problem management lifecycle is desirable.
- Knowledge of development and monitoring tools: Service Now, Datadog, Splunk, PowerBI, EasyBI, is an asset.
