Chief Functional Data Analyst

Your job

• Collaborate closely with the Analytics PO to document the backlog, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Identify, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for analytical development teams, including expected behaviors, use cases, and business rules.
• Participate in defining solutions and executing the development strategy in collaboration with development teams.
• Define test plans, validate results, and ensure the quality of developed solutions.
• Support departments and operational teams in deploying new analytical solutions.
• Leverage available data to validate findings, support business cases, and aid decision-making.
• Understand current processes and establish target processes by working closely with multiple stakeholders.

Your team:

Operations consists of over 2,500 employees who ensure the smooth execution of essential banking processes, providing efficient, reliable, and compliant services across all business functions.

Within the Performance and Process Evolution sector, you will be part of a team of over 50 colleagues, reporting to the Senior Director, Operations Analytics. Join a team of dedicated specialists who play a key role in managing National Bank's operations.

Prerequisites

• A university degree related to the field, and several years (minimum 3 years) of relevant experience.
• Practical experience with Agile development and delivery methodologies.
• Proven experience in business, functional, and technical analysis within a complex organization.
• Ability to translate and clearly communicate business context into technical context.
• Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools such as PowerBI.
• Practical experience in defining and performing quality assurance tests.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
• Knowledge of technologies and business processes supported in operational management is desirable.
• Knowledge of SQL, DAX, and data modeling is desirable.
