A career as a Senior Data Analyst in the Digital Performance team at National Bank means acting as a specialist to support the organization from a strategic and operational perspective in the delivery of digital customer experience measurement and analysis.

You will be responsible for framing performance measurement for an industry undergoing digital transformation, performing data analytics in a big data ecosystem, creating self-service reports and analytics tools in a fast-growing and stimulating environment.

This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization thanks to your ability to synthesize and your interpersonal qualities which will be significant assets in your ability to federate your interlocutors in the understanding and adoption of your analytical conclusions.

Your job

  • Define digital performance measurement frameworks through a detailed understanding of the current situation, external practices, digital vision and the business reality of the sector.
  • Provide synthetic, actionable analysis results for all stakeholders by cross-referencing data from multiple sources to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Develop Business Intelligence and storytelling solutions (automated dashboards, dynamic tools or ad hoc analyses) to present the most relevant information.
  • Understand the reality and work closely with the data engineering and digital analytics teams to translate business needs into technical and release requirements.
  • Be an ambassador within the organization on priority tools and business opportunities to make the best decisions, based on data.
  • Manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and be seen as a trusted advisor by influencing their strategy and operations while fostering alignment around reporting and metrics.

Your team

Within the Customer Experience and Digital sector, you are part of a large team of 12 colleagues and report to the Senior Director, Digital Performance. Combined with the team's expertise, the insights you will help provide will directly translate into accelerated growth in digital customer adoption and engagement while supporting the bank in its digital transformation, in a multi-sector context (Personal, Commercial, Wealth Management).

Prerequisite

  • Completed bachelor's degree, related to the industry, and 3 to 5 years of professional experience OR have completed a Master's degree, related to the industry, and 1 to 3 years of professional experience - Master's degree in Business Intelligence an asset
  • Significant work experience related to digital customer experience considered a strong asset
  • Experience in a role influencing decisions through data analysis and articulating key information to create value and improve business performance;
  • Advanced proficiency in relational and SQL databases for querying and data extraction - Experience with Snowflake an asset
  • Demonstrated expertise in data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.) for effective data presentation
  • Ability to simultaneously manage complex projects and drive projects to completion, with little or no guidance and great attention to detail.
