A career as an Integrator, CIAM Automation Development within the IT Cybersecurity Delivery tour at the National Bank of Canada means ensuring the most optimal delivery of external IAM services used to connect customers on our organization’s digital transactional platforms.
As a specialist in the integration of applications with CIAM best practices, you secure our customers during their interactions with our organization and ensure that the integration is as automated and efficient as possible.
Your job
  • Bring your technical expertise to the table, in order to optimize the choice and operation of the IT infrastructure and its applications.
  • Lead customer relations regarding the use of tools and facilitate their tasks in order to offer optimized services and remain aligned with business needs.
  • Write and deliver reports, allowing the rest of the team, the client, and future developers to know the state of integration of CIAM practices and the different means implemented for integration.
  • Establish solution proposals, breaking them down into technical specifications and an integration plan.
  • Partner with analysts and architects to clearly define consumer expectations and their alignment with CIAM practices and integration constraints.
  • Define and design the processes to automate for an integration.
  • Master integration protocols, security, integration APIs as well as the flows required for effective integration.
  • Define impacts on external systems based on solution capabilities.
  • Develop recipes, automation and optimizations in order to facilitate integrations and increase efficiency and consumer satisfaction.

Prerequisites
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Python developer.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Knowledge of modern integration technologies using microservices architecture or message queuing technologies.
  • Experience supporting software products and/or reusable technical components integrated into business solutions.
  • Skills in teamwork, facilitation, communication, conflict resolution and problem solving, including incident management in projects.
  • Familiar with AWS architectural features and best practices.
  • Experience in Agile / SAFe methodology
  • A minimum of knowledge of authentication and authorization techniques (SSO, MFA, OIDC / OAuth2)
  • DevOps mindset and culture
