Description
As an Analyst intern, you will work in collaboration with our Financing Solutions Managers and Account Managers in providing financing to our corporate clients.
** Interships are available in Montréal and in Québec city.
Your role
- Conduct credit analyses of maturing loans, according to the standards established by the Bank, and make recommendations
- Structure credit applications (boardsheet structuring) in cooperation with the Account Manager in order to mitigate risks and develop financing scenarios that meet client needs and match the Bank's risk criteria
- Obtain feedback from Account Managers on draft credit applications, amend them as necessary to ensure they meet the Bank’s requirements in terms of profitability, quality of presentation and risk analysis
- Negotiate financing terms and conditions with the Credit department in partnership with Account Managers
- Proactively work with Account Managers, Account Representatives and partners to identify cross-selling opportunities
- Work as a team and contribute to objectives for structuring credit for new financing
- Actively participate in various internal projects to continuously improve processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in administration (ongoing studies) OR master’s degree
- Knowledge of banking products, systems and services (an asset)
- Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French)
Candidate Profile
Applicants to this role should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, graduating at the latest in fall 2025 and must be able to work in Canada.

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely
- English (spoken & written), bilingualism for the Montreal office is required (for dealing with English-speaking partners outside Quebec)
