A career as a Senior Commercial Credit Risk Manager at National Bank is to act as the expert in approving SME credit. You will master standards in order to make credit decisions that meet the Bank's requirements and comply with its risk appetite. This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, through the implementation of strategies to monitor the quality of the loan portfolio in order to ensure integrity and to maximize profitability and business development.

Your role

• Analyzing, approving and recommending financing applications within and outside Quebec) in accordance with the Bank's credit policies and risk appetite

• Working in a team to meet the business line's short turnaround times

• Ensuring the quality of the credit portfolio

• Independently taking part in various committees and special mandates

• Ensuring good collaboration, coaching and continuous communication with the business line and other stakeholders

Requirements

• University degree in a related field plus 6 years of relevant experience OR a master's degree in a related field plus 4 years of relevant experience

• Proven experience in commercial credit risk analysis

• Strong negotiation skills and influence

• Diligence combined with an excellent ability to analyze and summarize information and work in a team

• Excellent knowledge of commercial financial products and services

• Demonstrated leadership for any new implemented credit initiative and/or special mandates

• Ability to make complex decisions in very short timeframes
