A career as Manager Franchises and Partnerships in the Commercial Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives team at National Bank means acting as an expert in the development of the franchise market. It is through the development of lasting / close relationships with major banners, your advanced knowledge in commercial financing and your ability to ensure simple / flawless execution of opportunities that you have a positive impact on partners, colleagues and the profitability of the Bank.

As franchises and partnerships manager, you will act as a relational “leader” with the banners and make strategic decisions to maximize their development.

Your job:

  •        Develop and maintain lasting relationships with the banners of the sectors of activity for which you are responsible
  •        Ensure the annual review of financing programs and sound risk management of your banner portfolio
  •        Ensure the evolution of the service offering under your management, expand its scope, while maximizing revenue growth
  •        Guide business development surrounding your portfolio
  •        Advise regional leaders on opportunities in their market
  •        Communicate existing franchise programs internally and mobilize sales teams
  •        Have a thorough understanding of franchising, operations and business risks associated with the industry
  •         Ensure simple, rapid and efficient end-to-end execution of programs under management
  •        Participate in the team's visibility and awareness activities both inside and outside the organization (week or weekend depending on the activity)
  •        Ensure the satisfaction of franchisors within your portfolio
  •        Innovate and keep up to date with market trends

Within the Strategy, Solutions and Business Processes sector, you are part of a team of 6 colleagues, and you report to associate vice-president. Our team stands out for its cutting-edge expertise, creativity, operational excellence and the multidisciplinary nature of the people who make it up.

Prerequisites:

  •        Bachelor's degree related to industry and seven years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to industry and five years of relevant experience OR University certificate and ten years of relevant experience
  •        Excellent knowledge of commercial finance (analysis and drafting broadsheet), commercial banking products and associated financing processes
  •        Experience in business development, ideally with large companies
  •        Ability to quickly grasp complex issues and make relevant recommendations
  •        Ability to analyze and solve problems, creativity and innovation
  •        Demonstrate a great sense of organization, priority management, and autonomy
  •        Influential leadership and excellent team player
