As a Residential Financing Leader in the Personal Banking sector at National Bank, you'll have the opportunity to influence and position residential financing. With your advisory-focused leadership, residential financing know-how, and global vision, you'll be in a position to positively impact our organization.
Your role:
  • Influence and collaboration: Work in synergy and partnership with colleagues from other business lines such as Investment, Commercial Banking, National Bank Financial, National Bank Direct Brokerage (NBDB), and the Financing value chain, with the goal of engaging clients more with the Bank by offering them solutions that go beyond residential financing.
  • Inspiring leadership: Adopt a strong and inspiring leadership approach. Be a visionary who's able to build, align, coach, and mobilize high-performing teams, while being a leader who brings people together and offers them different perspectives.
  • Creativity and market opportunities: Proactively search for market opportunities that will drive Residential Financing's transformation and evolution. Share bold new ideas to meet clients' needs, while anticipating their future needs as well.

Your team:
Working in the Personal Banking sector, you'll lead a Residential Financing team of more than 680 people, including 4 direct reports, and you'll report to the Senior Vice-President, Personal Banking.
Prerequisites:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least ten years' experience in residential financing OR a master's degree in a related field and at least eight years' experience in the same field.
  • Sound knowledge of the Canadian residential financing market
  • Demonstrated strategic vision
  • Pragmatic and inspiring leader who's committed to promoting and influencing the Bank’s culture of innovation and performance
  • Impactful communicator who can share the vision
  • Able to coach and develop talent
  • Able to build relationships, play an influential leadership role, and motivate people to collaborate with all our partners
