Description
A career as a Senior Advisor in the Regulatory Compliance and Governance Program team at National Bank is to have the chance to influence the orientations of your sector in terms of risk management and ensure their consistency with the Bank's orientations. You will also be called upon to act as an expert for the sector’s management and various stakeholders in decisions requiring expertise in regulatory risk management.
Your role:
- Ensure the implementation of the various components of the Regulatory Compliance Program;
- Support, through a strategic advisory role, various stakeholders to ensure the achievement of the objectives set by Compliance and alignment with established priorities and positioning;
- Ensure the communication of strategic positions, orientations and measures taken throughout the organization and support stakeholders;
- Contribute to or represent Compliance in pan-Bank projects or initiatives affecting the Regulatory Compliance Program;
- Support strategic and continuous roadmap improvement initiatives related to regulatory compliance management and the achievement of action plans from OSFI, Internal Audit and Independent Compliance Assessment;
- Ensure an end-to-end approach with regards to the Regulatory Compliance Program in collaboration with various stakeholder;
- Contribute to the evolution of methods, tools and/or processes related to the Regulatory Compliance Program;
- Formulate recommendations and concrete action plans for senior management for the implementation of best practices and enhance the regulatory risk management framework;

Prerequisites:
- University degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Member of the Barreau du Québec, an asset.
- 3 years of experience in the field of regulatory compliance.
- Excellent ability to synthesize, simplify and implement complex concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability or demonstrated interest in the collection, analysis and processing of data related to regulatory risk management
