Senior Advisor Transformation

Joining the Financial Markets Operations team at National Bank, as part of the Strategy & Transformation team, means working in an environment focused on collaboration, transformation, and innovation. In this role you will contribute to the implementation of the transformation strategy through your experience in IT project management, your expertise in data science, and your initiative.

 Your Role

• Contribute to and/or take charge of the delivery of business initiatives by operationalizing, simplifying, or automating financial market operations processes 
• Identify business needs, manage the impacts on financial markets operations, and recommend the most optimal solutions 
• Creating business requirements, process flows and user stories 
• Ability to be a liaison between our technical (IT) teams and operations to ensure needs are understood and met 
• Participation in New Product Committee (NPCs) 
• Play a key role in governance and operational needs 
• Facilitate the deployment of technological solutions by demonstrating a culture of autonomy and initiative 
• Effectively communicate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and solutions 
• Presentations to teams and upper management

 Your team

You will be part of a team of 9 senior advisors in the Strategy and Transformation sector, and you will report to the Senior Manager of the Market Event Management project team.

Prerequisites

• In depth knowledge of Corporate Actions or Revenue Sectors within Market Events
• Strong demonstrated leadership and influence in delivering/deploying initiatives
• Experience in delivering IT projects and agile methodology 
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders (including production teams, project and IT teams)
• Experience with programming (Python, Java), an asset
• Experience in data science, an asset
