Description
A career on the Operations Financial Markets, Custody Services team at National Bank means serving as a specialist in various processes related to settling securities transactions for National Bank Trust. This position allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, through your knowledge of institutional account management and skills in compiling, analyzing and interpreting varied data, while making recommendations.
Your role
- Process non-standard rejected transactions with a view to settling or paying them
- Serve as a resource person for business line account managers, internal and external portfolio managers and other operational teams
- Answer a variety of requests, mainly by email, but also by phone
- Analyze several types of reconciliation and explain gaps and make recommendations to resolve issues
- Have a thorough, end-to-end knowledge of various processes related to securities custody in order to provide high-quality support
- Help to build the Operations Custody Services Centre of Excellence

This position reports to the Manager - Custody Services and you’ll be part of a broader team of 16 colleagues who value client satisfaction, performance, collaboration and innovation.

Prerequisites
- A three-year college diploma or academic equivalent in a related field and three years of relevant experience
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of the financial market operational processes
- Proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Solid issue communication skills
