A career in the Financial Markets Operations, North American Settlement team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in the various North American transaction settlement processes. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your knowledge of transaction settlement so that everything is done accordingly and on time and minimizes related financial risks.

Your job

  • Coordinate and ensure the smooth running of daily activities, while supporting the manager in meeting cost objectives and service deadlines.
  • Act as a resource person for our business partners
  • Contribute to the optimization of procedures in the sector and collaborate in the development of processes
  • Analyze several types of conciliation and management of complex cases, explain discrepancies and make recommendations to resolve issues
  • Master the end-to-end of the various processes linked to North American settlements in order to provide quality support
  • Support and accompany team members in their challenges and responsibilities (training, answering complex questions, etc.).

This position reports to the North American Settlement Director and you are part of a large team of 11 colleagues who values customer satisfaction, performance, collaboration and innovation.

Prerequisites

  • Three-year college diploma or academic equivalent, related to the sector of activity and three years of relevant experience
  • Have a good general understanding of the main processes and activities and a good command of the end-to-end activities of the financial markets
  • Take advantage of technologies (IT savviness)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to think in process mode
  • Demonstrate initiative and agility
  • Decision-making power and autonomy
  • Communication skills
