A career as a Senior Application Analyst in the IT Enterprise Delivery team at National Bank involves acting as the lead for analyzing new requests and application support.

Your Job

  • Support a hybrid legacy and cloud application, which is SBIE/BNE (Internet Banking Solution for Enterprises / Digital Banking for Enterprises). Resolve support tickets, both functional and technical, opened by employees on behalf of clients.
  • Analyze logs and dashboards to understand the nature of an issue.
  • Take charge of, analyze, communicate, and coordinate the resolution of incidents, problems, and application change requests with the Bank's teams and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (business line, developers, analysts, solution architects, etc.) and be able to provide various analyses (functional, data, quality assurance).
  • Understand business needs, challenges, and processes, document requirements, and prepare recommendations to design or adapt systems that meet needs and facilitate decision-making.
  • Ensure good IT hygiene of the application portfolio under our sector's responsibility.
  • Participate in the evolution of business directions and the IT environment supporting them.
  • Create test scenarios and conduct functional and technical testing.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree or other relevant qualification in the field and several years of relevant experience.
  • Technical experience in analysis, technical support, or incident management.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, particularly in collaboration with vendors.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and programming (ability to read pseudocode).
  • Experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, EC2, Docker, Route53, VPC, Lambda, Terraform, etc.) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of collaborative work tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Office 365.
  • Knowledge of initiative and operations management methodologies: Agile (Scrum, Kanban), ITIL, DevOps, or others.
  • Understanding of the delivery lifecycle/incident and problem management lifecycle is desirable.
  • Knowledge of development and monitoring tools: ServiceNow, Datadog, Splunk, Power BI, EasyBI is an asset.
