A career as a senior application security advisor in the Information Security team at National Bank means acting as an expert and playing a key role in application security practices. This job allows you to have a positive impact on the security of the Bank and its customers through your experience in operational cybersecurity, your in-depth knowledge of security development best practices and your leadership.
Your job:
- Establish a culture of safe development within development teams.
- Communicate and popularize best practices in application security.
- Contextualize and analyze application vulnerabilities to help resolve them.
- Support development teams in the integration of security practices.
- Participate in the evaluation and optimization of application security tools.
Your team:
You will be part of a team of approximately 12 specialists who collaborate to strengthen the Bank's security posture. Within the Security Operations Center (SOC) in the information security sector, you will work with experts in offensive and defensive security, vulnerability management and threat intelligence. This position reports to the Senior Director of Offensive Security Operations.

Prerequisite:
- Completed education in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in enterprise software development.
- Excellent knowledge of application and cloud security.
- Experience with application vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Snyk).
- Knowledge of development systems (e.g., Docker, Maven, .NET, npm, Poetry).
- Scripting skills to identify bad practices in code.
