A career as a Senior Data Analyst in the GP1859 Administration and Performance Measurement team means supporting the new variable compensation program for 1859 Private Wealth Management teams. You will contribute to a flagship project for GP1859, while gaining a detailed knowledge of the business line and its products. As a Senior Analyst, you will conduct analysis and make relevant data available with the aim of supporting the global understanding and democratization of GRP information.  All this in a fast-paced and stimulating growth environment. Your job:

  • Analyze and understand data from authoritative sources in the proprietary domain to detect quality issues, risks, general trends in order to support and accelerate the GRP process
  • Work closely with other team members, 1859 private wealth stakeholders, as well as whole-bank stakeholders.
  • Communicate results through visualizations, presentations, and reports (profiling, gap analysis) to users
  • Provide support to the various teams in the development of data quality metrics and monitoring dashboards.
  • Participate in the management of change and its impacts on the PRV and orchestrate the deployment of the various solutions within the sector, in line with a pan-bank target.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on business needs and collaborate with the various business, IT and support stakeholders in the implementation of the sectoral and bank-wide VRP.
  • Propose improvements and corrections on the quality of the analyzed data
  • Document the tables and all the transformations used through the metadata management tool;
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.

Join Private Wealth Management 1859, which is dedicated to providing wealth management services and advice to distinctive and high-net-worth clients.  You will be part of the GP1859 Administration and Performance Measurement team, responsible for supporting the maintenance, optimization and evolution of the GRP. You will work with a multidisciplinary team that manages and delivers large-scale projects that have a significant impact on GP1859's efficiency, profitability and customer experience.  Working at GP1859 is an opportunity to quickly increase your expertise in investment, retail and commercial banking, all within a single business line. In this position, you will report directly to the Senior Director, joining a team of seasoned experts on both the business and data sides.

Prerequisite:

  • Bachelor's degree, certificate or master's degree in data management, analytics, computer science, statistics or any other similar and relevant field
  • Have a strong interest in the banking industry or demonstrate knowledge of products and processes in a business area
  • Knowledge of data, dashboard designs, and visualizations
  • Demonstrate competence in working with data with SQL and PowerBI tools
