Description
A career as a Data Steward in the Risk Strategy Modeling (MSR) sector, at National Bank, means working with a transformation unit responsible for evolving the business capabilities of the team. More specifically, you will work on defining and governing the analytical and operational target for the consumption and exposure of data within the credit risk domain.
Your job :
- Work closely with the credit risk domain data owners and apply best practices in data governance and management as defined by the Data Office (CDO).
- Participate in the governance of strategic initiatives in the credit risk domain (ACDC, PRR, Evo-Eco, Automated Contacts, etc.) and collaborate with stakeholders by analyzing the impacts on data requirements and performing the necessary tasks to ensure that project data is adequately governed.
- Provide leadership in data quality improvement and management throughout the data lifecycle (e.g., setting targets and thresholds, dashboarding...).
- Support data management cycle stakeholders, including developers, specialists from other practices, and consumers.
- Identify data consumer needs and make recommendations with the data owner.

You will report to the Senior Director - MSR Transformation team and be part of the larger Risk Strategy Modeling team . Join a multidisciplinary team whose mandate is to ensure value delivery as part of the Risk Strategy Modeling team, which includes building the target data ecosystem, setting up future analytical and operational environments, and developing models and strategies that optimize new data and features delivered as part of our strategic initiatives (ACDC, CLEW, Automated Contacts, etc.).

Prerequisites:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, 2 to 3 years of experience in risk modeling, data architecture, or any other field related to data management.
- Mastery of credit risk domain data (Credit Decision, Credit Bureaus, Collection and Recovery, etc.) - a significant asset.
- Ability to adapt and evolve in a dynamic transformation environment.
- Experience with a data visualization tool such as Excel/Power BI.
- Experience in SQL/SAS programming - an asset.
