As a Senior AI Scientist - Predictive Models in the Industrialization and AI team within the Data Management and Valorization sector at National Bank, you'll be an AI specialist in predictive models. With your skills in machine learning, your experience in deploying AI models, and your knowledge of the Bank's products, you'll have a positive impact on customer and employee experiences as well as profitability.
Your role:
- Participate in the exploration, development, and operationalization of complete automated solutions based on artificial intelligence to address concrete banking issues.
- Ensure close collaboration with other AI Scientists, business lines, IT teams, and security teams to successfully carry out initiatives that positively impact National Bank's customers and employees.
- Understand and adapt to explainability, regulatory, and operationalization constraints to accelerate the development and operationalization of artificial intelligence models.
- Act as a Scientific leader in AI projects, having a comprehensive understanding of challenges and strong knowledge of banking products.
- Immerse yourself in business lines and understand the complex business reality.
Your team:
As part of the Data Management and Valorization sector for Individuals (GVDP), you’ll be on a team of 9 colleagues and you’ll report to the Principal Analytics Director. Our team stands out for its expertise in artificial intelligence models (predictive, machine learning, NLU/NLP, LLMs) and their operationalization applied to credit risk, financial crimes, conversational robots, and content generation. We work closely with different business lines and various IT teams to ensure successful delivery.

Prerequisites:
- Master's degree, Ph.D., or any diploma related to statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, or another relevant domain in AI.
- 4 years or more of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other related fields with strong knowledge of predictive AI models (bagging and boosting).
- Expert knowledge of programming in Python, advanced skills with PySpark and Snowpark, and advanced SQL queries and schema.
- Advanced knowledge of DEV tools such as Git, Github Copilot, and Jenkins, and cloud tools AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Advanced knowledge of machine learning optimization tools such as MLFlow and Hyperopt.
- Interest in communication and interpersonal relationships and a desire to work effectively as part of a team.
