Your job:
- Provide legal advice and intervene in strategic matters that have a significant impact on the activities, operations and results of National Bank of Canada and its subsidiaries
- Conduct analysis and research, issue legal opinions, and make recommendations to ensure the development and protection of National Bank of Canada and its subsidiaries
- Understand the impact of regulatory requirements on the operations of National Bank of Canada and its subsidiaries
- Improve internal processes and increase institutional knowledge
- Analyze, interpret and review various reports and legal documents to protect the rights of National Bank of Canada

This position reports to a Senior Director, Privacy Sector

Basic requirements
- Bachelor of Laws and 5 years of experience in one of the following areas of law: artificial intelligence, technology, privacy, governance
- Member of the Quebec Bar
- Willingness and ability to learn and contribute in multiple areas of law
- Experience in the banking industry an asset
- Possess good judgment and business acumen
- Propensity to offer efficient and quality service to business partners
- Proactive, Leadership and Initiative
- Ability to manage priorities and a large volume of files
- Experience in a large firm desirable
