Being a Senior Manager - Commercial learning means being responsible for a multidisciplinary training team that will support our Commercial business line partners in their business ambitions by developing strategies that will have a direct impact on employee attraction, development, engagement, and achieving our business objectives. This role reports to the Senior Manager - Commercial Banking Sales Effectiveness and will be matrix-managed with the Employee Experience Business Partner.

The Business sector aims to update its training methods both for initial training and continuous training, for all roles within the business line.

The mandate requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and multiple stakeholders to deploy innovative solutions that meet the constantly evolving needs of employees.

Your Role:

  • Conduct needs analysis with market leaders and develop the learning strategy to deploy simple, innovative, and project-specific solutions.
  • Design learning solutions in collaboration with the Employee Experience Learning team following best practices across the bank.
  • Support/enable business sectors and project teams in the training design.
  • Identify stakeholders and work collaboratively with them to support them in achieving their mandate.
  • Closely monitor project scope, costs, timelines, risks, and external suppliers.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust your schedule based on priorities.
  • Provide learning advice to business sectors or value chains you work with to develop certain employee pools.
  • Contribute to the smooth functioning of work processes and their continuous improvement.
  • Mobilize a multidisciplinary training team.
  • Work in collaboration with the PB1859

Your Team:

You report to the Senior Director of Enterprise Sales Efficiency and will also be matrix-managed with the EE Business Partner. You will have the opportunity to create and lead a team passionate about learning. The team holds a prominent place within the large Commercial Banking family. Well established transversally within the organization, the team and its leader have the opportunity to have a positive impact across all sectors of the company. Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree related to the field of activity and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in training, either in learning needs analysis, defining learning strategies, or designing learning solutions.
  • Project management experience in agile or waterfall project contexts.
  • Experience in team management and coaching
  • Excellent written communication (grammar, syntax, writing).
  • Proficiency in the Office suite and collaboration tools.
  • Focused on finding suitable solutions.
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation.
  • Ability to influence and work in a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and evolve in a transforming environment.
  • Ability to adapt to project volatility and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
