A career as a Senior Network Specialist on the Infrastructure and Operations sector team at National Bank means realizing integration and evolution projects of our Telecom infrastructures. In this role, you can use your vast networking knowledge, experience in delivering large enterprise projects, and your abilities in simplification and automation to have a positive impact on the organization.

 


Your job

  • Evaluate business challenges and identify the stakeholder’s network needs, propose and design innovative, scalable and secure solutions to support enterprise activities and projects;
  • Deliver large telecom projects, while fostering collaboration and operational excellence;
  • Collect, analyze, and model critical information to provide leadership with actionable insights for informed decision-making and strategy development;
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, maintaining advanced expertise to anticipate future trends and organizational needs;
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline recurring or complex processes, reduce human errors, and enhance efficiency;
  • Develop and manage robust code pipelines to enable seamless, consistent, and modular deployment of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Communicate effectively, promote a team-oriented mindset, and proactively address challenges and opportunities.

 

Your team

 

You will be part of a team of 17 colleagues in the Infrastructure and Operations sector, and you will report to Network Evolution director. Our team stands out for its commitment and expertise.

Prerequisite


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in network technologies and infrastructure
  • Certification and experience in network management within cloud environments, primarily on AWS 
  • Certification and practical expertise in networking technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, ISE, VPN, Load Balancer, DNS, Proxy, and QoS
  • In-depth knowledge of various network and routing protocols and their interactions for the deployment of applications and services (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF)
  • Expertise in deploying, configuring, optimizing, and standardizing complex and heterogeneous networks
  • Proficiency in network trend analysis for capacity planning and proactive failure detection
  • Mastery of network diagnostic and monitoring tools such as Wireshark, Zabbix, LogicMonitor, and Splunk
  • Experience in developing automation tools using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Python
  • Expertise in implementing Agile and DevOps practices to ensure fast and high-quality deliveries
