A career as a Senior Advisor, Physical Space Planning, within the Physical Environment Design and Planning team (Real Estate Business Strategy) at National Bank means playing a strategic role in managing the implementation program of the planning guidelines established by the Real Estate Business Strategy (REBS).

Your Job
- Develop and coordinate various planning projects for all business lines
- Play a strategic role in the preliminary phase of major complex planning projects and coordinate the project's operational needs with the planning manager
- Acquire mastery of planning standards, detail books, and the furniture catalog for all business lines and ensure the correct application of the overall planning concept
- Act as an expert on technical elements related to the planning concept in line with sustainable development practices, accessibility and inclusion
- Ensure constant monitoring in a field of activity and market best practices and act as an expert advisor to management and stakeholders
- Lead large-scale committees or projects while collaborating on problem-solving requiring a high of experience and expertise
- Anticipate issues and develop mitigation solutions and control mechanisms
- Supervise the preliminary design phase for all projects assigned to you
- Make recommendations regarding design, production of plans, specifications, selection of materials and schedules necessary for construction documentation

Prerequisites
- Hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in similar tasks OR a technical DEC witha minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar tasks
- Degree obtained in a building-related discipline (construction, design, architecture, or other related training)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software
- Good knowledge of Microsoft suite office tools
- Knowledge of the principles of real estate asset management software
- Be available to travel within Canada
- Bilingualism in French and English essential
