This position is based in Toronto and will require occasional travel to the various places of business in Ontario as well as to the head office located in Quebec.

Your Job


  • Implement strategies to identify and attract talent, including headhunting in regions outside Quebec
  • Advise managers and candidates during the recruitment process
  • Carry out the posting, analysis, telephone interviews and selection process
  • Develop and maintain talent pools by building lasting relationships
  • Offer a human and inclusive candidate experience
  • Contribute to National Bank’s visibility and identify potential profiles
  • Participate in networking events
  • Contribute to process improvement and co-development activities

The Talent Acquisition team is based in downtown Montreal and focuses on strategic recruitment for all of Canada. The team is made up of about twenty passionate recruiters. You will be responsible for recruiting future National Bank employees outside of Quebec.

Basic Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience 
  • Strong experience in sourcing, direct approach, and talent acquisition
  • Execution of talent hunting and acquisition strategies for specialized positions
  • In-depth knowledge of the job market and talent pool creation
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Well-organized with excellent prioritization skills
  • Teamwork, curiosity, and interest in learning
  • Ability to work in ambiguity
  • Analytical skills and proficiency in working with data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in French and English
