Purpose

We are seeking a Electrical Engineer with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team and contribute their skills and knowledge to our ongoing development and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage electrical supply projects through conceptual, pre-feasibility, feasibility, AFE, and construction phases
  • Provide detailed and thorough analysis and design of long term electrical supply
  • Provide detailed and thorough analysis and design of expanded diesel generation capacity
  • Provide technical assistance with respect to on-site power reticulation
  • Represent the mine in external communications with regard to site electrical supply
  • Specific projects include Surface and Underground power distribution system design.
Requirements
  • B.Sc. degree or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • P.Eng license required.
  • Solid engineering background with 5-10 years of experience in the design of electrical distribution systems.
Working Conditions

The work schedule for this position is 4 days on, 3 days off, working 10-hour days.

The successful candidate must be from the Thunder Bay area or be willing to relocate.
