About the role

The surveying intern is part of the Mining Engineering team and reports to the Service Supervisor. He/she is in the process of learning in the mining engineering field.

Essential Duties
  • Survey underground galleries
  • Survey open sites
  • Mark drilling sites in accordance with plans
  • Update and draw up development plans
  • Support other engineering department teams as required
  • Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly in terms of health and safety
  • All tasks related to the performance of duties
Training & Experience
  • Student in Mining Engineering or Mineral Technology
  • Have studied mining modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7
  • Knowledge of Deswik Promine information technology, Microsoft-based software
  • Bilingual, French & English

Working Conditions
  • Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days of rest
