About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

As a member of the Brucejack family, we put your health, comfort, and safety first. You’ll stay in private rooms with individual washrooms, enjoy balanced meals prepared by our exceptional culinary team, and have access to a 24-hour snack and sandwich bar. Your Impact

As a Shop Laborer at Brucejack Mine, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. From assisting mechanics to organizing parts and maintaining a clean, safe work area, your support helps ensure our shop and yard operate efficiently and safely in a remote, alpine environment.

As Part of Our Team, You Will
  • Support daily maintenance operations by organizing tools, inventory, and assisting tradespeople

  • Clean and maintain shop and yard areas, including snow clearing when needed

  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied weather conditions

  • Drive crew vans and assist with safe transport of personnel and materials

  • Complete safety inspections, hazard identification, and required documentation

  • Follow all safe work practices and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work culture

Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Grade 12 or GED

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract

  • Mechanically inclined and familiar with common shop tools

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

  • Physically fit and able to work 12-hour shifts in outdoor conditions

  • WHMIS and TDG certifications preferred

  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed

Your Work Environment
  • Location: Brucejack Mine (remote, fly-in/fly-out)

  • Rotation: 13 days on / 13 days off + 2 travel days

  • Shifts: 12-hour shifts, both day and night

  • Conditions: Alpine weather, close team quarters, physically demanding work

  • Requirements: Pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening, PPE compliance
