Position Overview

Reporting to Maintenance Control Supervisor, the Maintenance Control Coordinator is an experienced, licensed AME – M2 or E. The MCC Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all line maintenance work performed to ensure safety, efficiency and compliancy with regulation and company procedures.

responsibilities:
  • Continuous monitoring of aircraft airworthiness in support of the MCC Supervisor, ensuring rapid responsiveness to technical unforeseen events.
  • Coordination of maintenance operations to minimize the impact of breakdowns and delays on flights, in conjunction with maintenance and flight management teams.
  • Documentation and management of Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) for each aircraft, adhering to safety directives.
Duties:
  • Ensuring the airworthiness of the company’s fleet is maintained, and communicated as the status changes.
  • Serving as the central point of contact for all departments when technical and logistical assistance is required.
  • Participate in company meetings to relay information about fleet status and corrective maintenance needs.
  • Collaborating with line maintenance, Store, Dispatch, OCC and Crew Sched to formulate and evaluate recovery plans during irregular operations.
  • Initiating aircraft swaps when necessary to meet maintenance goals and making decisions regarding discrepancies/deferrals.
  • Exercising authority and responsibility for supervising and coordinating all line scheduled/unscheduled maintenance.
  • Maintain constant surveillance of line station activity.
  • Authorize the use of the Minimum Equipment List (MEL/CDL) and other deferrals.
  • Liaise with vendors when third party maintenance is required.
  • Ensure that work has been completed and the maintenance release has been signed. Verify thatall deferred items are in accordance with the time limit authorized by MEL and ensure that allmaintenance and operational restrictions are in compliance.
  • Meticulously record technical delays and provide recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Confirming part requirements for deferrals and monitoring their status.
  • Support the accomplishment of planned maintenance in conjunction with the maintenance planning department.
  • Coordinate all maintenance ferry flights in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Generating accurate and comprehensive shift turnover reports.
  • Assist store department during AOG request from other air operators.
  • Monitor fleet status through Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) system and Engine Condition Trend Monitoring (ECTM) program reports.
  • Identifying safety concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards and reporting them through the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program.
Required skills:
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills;
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure;
  • Strong Organizational skills to ensure proper tracking of maintenance priorities;
  • Demonstrated analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead as a Nolinor team member by being collaborative and modelingour values;
Requirements:
  • Holding an M2 or E license;
  • Experience on Boeing 737 and Learjet 45 (an asset);
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of aircraft maintenance or operations management;
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, Airworthiness Directives, engineering drawings, and procedure manuals;
  • Good knowledge of the Canadian Air Regulations (CARs);
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English to communicate with intern and external clients;
  • Be open to work irregular hours or shift work that may include overnights, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a schedule that varies;
