We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our Aircraft Maintenance Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Creating and modifying documentation related to the Aircraft Maintenance Department by following established procedures, streamlining information from service bulletins, airworthiness directives, continuous airworthiness instructions, and more.
  • Examples: work instruction cards, technical drawings.
  • Creating and modifying documentation related to company policies for the maintenance department (MCM, MPM, illustrative procedure diagrams).
  • Managing change requests related to maintenance documentation.
  • Keeping the technical maintenance library up to date.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio).
  • Knowledge of the WebManuals platform (an asset).
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Relevant experience in technical writing, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and technical maintenance documents, with the ability to read and understand service bulletins (SB) and Airworthiness Directives (AD), is an asset.
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, to navigate the system and understand manuals and procedures.
