Northern Lights Public Schools is located in the heart of Alberta’s Lakeland region, which offers residents a multitude of outdoor recreation opportunities and stunning displays of the Aurora Borealis. The division is focused on ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed and has designated numeracy and student mental health and wellness as division priorities.

OSC2425-03 Out of School Care Workers - Vera M. Welsh School
These are flexible casual positions and involve working before and/or after school shifts Monday to Friday. The assignments include the planning and implementation of activities for school aged children in a constructive and caring environment. Training is available towards certification.
Preference will be given to applicants who have:
Early Learning and Child Care Certification - Minimum Level 1 Child Development Assistant (training available)
First Aid Certification
Experience/training in childcare and related fields
A sincere desire to work with preschool and elementary age children
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
