Omni Rail Inc. is currently looking for a heavy & hydraulic equipment chief engineer. We are specialized in the maintenance and repair of railway track and need a trusted person having at heart our equipment & the safety of those who handle them.

As a heavy equipment mechanic, you perform the following duties:

  • Testing machinery and inspecting issues in equipment: as a heavy/hydraulic equipment mechanic, you check and test equipment to diagnose issues. With your diagnostic tools, you determine the repairs or adjustments needed for the equipment to function as expected.
  • Good computer knowledge to manage equipment maintenance, diagnostic reports, etc.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, tools and everything that is kept in the garage.
  • Ordering replacement parts and repairing tools and equipment: when equipment requires replacement parts, you order the parts and the equipment needed for the repair job. You may order from other provinces or overseas. When you determine the delivery time for the replacement parts, you advise the company when the machinery will be out of commission.
  • Scheduling maintenance work: as a heavy / hydraulic equipment mechanic.
  • Writing reports on repairs and maintenance work performed: after inspecting heavy / hydraulic equipment mechanics and performing repairs.
