Make a difference in the lives of children and youth with complex needs by providing trauma-informed, evidence-based care. Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver specialized Occupational Therapy services and support families in their journey towards better health and well-being.

What can I expect to do in this role?As part of our team at the CPRI, you will deliver specialized Occupational Therapy services and develop innovative care programs. Every day will be a little different based on your clients' needs, but you can expect it to include activities like:
• Performing detailed assessments and creating personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
• Educating and supporting families to achieve therapy goals.
• Conducting and interpreting standardized assessments.
• Recording and reporting assessment findings and client progress.
• Leading clinical consultations with community partners.

How do I qualify?Mandatory• You are registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• You have graduated from a master's degree level or equivalent course in Occupational Therapy from a university of recognized standing.
• You have a valid Ontario ‘G' Drivers License to travel within the service area.

KnowledgeYou have:
• expertise in occupational therapy techniques for assessment, planning, treatment, and follow-up.
• experience with consultation service delivery models.
• specialized training in sensory integration, life skills, child development, and feeding.
• an understanding of cultural and human diversity.

Communication and Interpersonal SkillsYou can:
• engage with children, youth, families, and service providers.
• teach clinical skills to therapists and community members.
• work collaboratively with team members and community representatives.

Organizational SkillsYou can:
• organize, prioritize, and schedule clients.
• manage information and your workload effectively.

Analytical and Reasoning Skills:You can:
• set therapeutic goals and design individual or group programs.
• gather and discuss relevant information with referral sources and families.
