Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for trading Foreign Exchange (FX), Futures, and Commodities. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, strong analytical skills, and the ability to execute trades efficiently. Your main responsibility is to act as the subject matter expert, monitoring markets and delivering top-tier execution.
The Global Trading team within the Total Fund Management department.
Portfolio Managers across both the Total Fund Management and Capital Markets departments.
Trading and Advisory
Subject matter expertise in trading Foreign Exchange, Futures, and Commodities markets.
Collaborate closely with portfolio managers during the investment process, providing insights on market flows, and monitoring market trends and economic indicators.
Identify liquidity sources and manage market access to reduce execution costs.
Contribute to the enhancement of trading processes and the development of new strategies.
Maintain strong and professional relationships with brokers and dealers to ensure comprehensive coverage of all relevant markets.
Data Analytics and Technology
Collaborate with the Trading and Research Analytics team to enhance pre- and post-trade analytics, including dealer selection, trading technologies, liquidity scoring, and transaction cost analysis (TCA).
Collaborating with internal stakeholders
Contribute to the creation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate and communicate with the broader global trading team and departments to keep relevant parties informed and engaged on transactions or initiatives.
Establish strong working relationships with IT, Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Risk staff to ensure the effective resolution of all issues related to the Credit business.
At least 5 years of experience in trading foreign exchange, futures, or commodities.
A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a related field such as Finance, Economics, or Mathematics. A master’s degree would be advantageous.
Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong experience in data analytics to support pre- and post-trade analysis and improve cost analysis.
Excellent active listening skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
Strong ethical standards and a commitment to compliance and regulatory requirements.
