We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our
team at Manordale Public School .
Manordale is home to over 300 kindergarten to grade 6 students. We provide programming in both the regular English and French Immersion programs. We are proud to be a culturally diverse school where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. At Manordale, we follow an inclusionary model where students are supported in their classroom, following the principle that “what is necessary for some is good for all”. We staff use a variety of Board approved software applications to supplement our programming. Manordale places a high value on character and recognizes students when they demonstrate the character traits in the OCDSB’s character wheel. We continually challenge ourselves to maximize student potential and look for ways to make our school better each day.
Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton
District School Board’s (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of
education in the school, and the District, by creating a positive and inclusive
school climate, learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to
work collaboratively and respectfully, with a human rights and equity
perspective, to foster student success, achievement and well-being.

This posting is open to all Occasional Teachers who DO NOT already have a part time contract.

Please be advised that our order of consideration for permanent contracts is as follows: current internal permanent elementary contract teacher applicants, current elementary occasional teacher applicants, and then qualified external applicants.

considered for other French contract positions.
