The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario and offers students and parents a world of choice for learning. Our nearly 150 schools offer a wide range of programs to promote learning excellence and meet the individual needs of students, parents, and the community at large. Our schools are teaching communities where principals, vice-principals, teachers and support staff nurture student well-being and challenge students to achieve their best.
We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our team at Bayview Public School .
Bayview serves students in grades Junior Kindergarten to grade 4. We have an enrollment of about 400 students. Students, staff, and parents work collaboratively to create a positive atmosphere that fosters respect, co-operation, and success. Academic excellence and French language proficiency are our major focus. In promoting a positive and safe learning environment for all our students, Bayview parents and staff truly work in partnership. The school mascot is the polar bear which embodies our school motto, “Respect, Responsibility and Resource”. In 2005, through the World Wildlife Federation, we adopted Nanuk.
