We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our team at Churchill Alternative School.

Churchill operates as a JK-6 program, with approximately 200 students. Serving the northwest central area of the City of Ottawa, Churchill provides the alternative program to a broad cross-section of students. We truly are a a community school and adhere to the 7 tenets of the Alternative Program. Churchill Alternative School has the reputation of being an excellent school with a unique philosophy that serves its community well. Eligibility List

All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.

If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications. Please be advised that our order of consideration for Elementary LTO's is as follows: 1) current elementary occasional teacher applicants, followed by 2) qualified external applicants.

OCT Additional Qualifications: FSL Part 1

Additional Requirements (experience, knowledge, education,) considered an asset for the Position:

* Spec Ed and Kindergarten qualifications would be an asset

Additional Information: Hours, 8:00am - 9:00am daily

A minimum of 3 qualified applicants will be offered an interview, including:

1. At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.

2. If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
