Under the direction of the Speech Language Pathology Lead, the Speech Language Pathologist will:

Evaluate and identify speech and language delays and disorders within the school population

Develop and consult on speech and language programs

Offer capacity building opportunities for education staff

Liaise and consults with outside agencies, parents/guardians, teachers, and specialists

Participate on Board and Department committees

Perform other duties, as assigned by the supervisor

The ideal candidate will have:

A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Current registration with the College of Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologists (CASLPO)

Two years of related experience

Experience with administering standardized tests

Proficiency with word processing and software packages for language development, augmentative and alternative communication, etc.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Organizational and time management skills

Initiative and the ability to work independently

A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle

This is a part-time (0.50 FTE) permanent assignment with an anticipated start date as soon as the recruitment process has been completed. The annual full time salary range for this role is $93,617 - $110,063 which will be prorated to reflect the FTE. A comprehensive employee benefits and pension package is provided.
