Pacific Academy is inviting applications from qualified individuals for a full-time temporary position as a Grade 8 Teacher in the Middle School. This position is to cover a maternity leave, beginning in March 2025 and continuing through June 30, 2025.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates should:
Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
Be fluent in oral and written English
Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively, and be willing to cooperate in the planning and implementation of project based units with the grade team
Have experience or willingness to participate in outdoor education planning and trips (i.e. Hiking, canoeing, snowshoeing)
Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, grade level core subjects (Faith and Learning, Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Social Studies)
